•The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that in the future, China will accelerate the construction of a new development pattern and strive to promote high-quality development. In response to the national call for sustainable development and the practice of the development philosophy that “Lucid waters and lush mountains are source of immeasurable wealth and prosperity,”  ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)  has become a powerful driver for economic transformation and a inevitable choice for companies seeking high-quality development in today's business landscape.
•ESG is the microcosm of sustainable development at the enterprise level and also the necessary path to serve China's new development pattern and promote value creation and enhancement for companies.
•The steel industry is a pioneer in ESG transformation. In March 2023, the “ESG Steel Industry White Paper” has been published ，focusing on sustainable development in the steel industry was published. As an intermediate link in the steel industry chain, the transformation and development of ESG in the ferroalloy industry are not only an intrinsic driver for companies to pursue higher value but also an inevitable trend for building an ESG ecosystem in the steel industry chain.
•Based on this, we propose to  organize the CFIA ESG Transformation and Development Forum。 Together with like-minded individuals, we will join hands to gain insights， envision the  future, and collaborate for development!
